The Architecture Society mostly come from one of the variety of architecture degrees at UWE, however we welcome all students from all courses with an interest in architecture and the built environment.

Some of our lovely lectures have been working to put together a collaborative architectural resource library!

⭐AND IT NEEDS A NAME!⭐

That's where you come in: We're looking for name submissions for this great resource! 📚 We will take all submissions and vote on a final winner 🏆🏆🏆

📐A little more about the aim:📏
"The resource aims to be a place in which to share and collect a diverse and inclusive list of not just building precedents but practitioners/practice from related disciplines, ways of working, research, and multi/interdisciplinary approaches from around the world. It is searchable with keywords and characteristics, such as gender, location etc and draws on a variety of medias, such as videos, podcasts, interviews etc. We encourage suggestions for the resource and hope that it will continue to grow and be a university wide resource!" 🌱

ARC SOC AGM

We’re holding our annual AGM for the society!!

Join us in R Block Super studio at 5:30pm to come and vote, nominate and elect your new committee for next year.

We will be holding live nominations and elections for committee positions for majority of the roles, if you’d like to nominate yourself for a position then please come along.

We hope to see as many of you there!!!

(P.S: We will be bringing some sweet treats and will be heading to the SU right afterwards)

We can't believe it's been more than a week since we visited these iconic Brutalist landmarks 📸
As a group we visited the Barbican, Battersea Power Station, and Alexandra Road Estate, sketching and taking photos along the way 📖🖋️ Admiring the buildings and being inspired by their scale and scheme. It was truly a lovely day out and about with you!

The RIBA Bristol and Bath festive drinks has completely sold out! We'll be heading over to the Museum of Bath architecture tomorrow as a group.

🎫 We recommend purchasing an off peak return ticket before joining us! Please also only come if you have tickets for the event
