Yesterday's bike theory, safety, maintenance, and repair session! Cubs covered:

- Safe cycling
- Affixing lights
- Oiling the chain
- Finding and fixing a puncture

They should be well prepped for the Big Annual Cub Cycle up the cycle path.

Tonight Cubs learned about Vesak, or Buddha Day. They played Dhyakki, a Nepalese version of hopscotch, and then made colourful ceremonial flags with images of mythical beasts, to spread fortune, health, and wealth! 🤗

Tonight Cubs made juggling balls! We put rice inside freezer bags, and then stretched balloons around these to make the outer layers. There were some great colour combos!
We did a short juggling lesson at the end. We explained that juggling is a skill that takes practice, but is very rewarding when you can do it, so definitely worth sticking at it! It's great for hand eye coordination, and is quite relaxing
