As a well-deserved break from renovating tools and sewing machines to send to Africa, several of the volunteers visited the Gates Sewing Machine Museum, situated in an old industrial tanning building in Street Somerset.
Bus travel was used by them all and after the museum, a local cafe was visited for a cup of tea and some cake.

A HUGE thank you from the Bristol team to everyone who attended our Charity Tool Sale. It was very hot and very busy, but this was our best ever sale with all the proceeds in aid of Tools for Self Reliance. We were especially thankful for the extra donations received during the sale.

Our next Big Tool Sale will be on Saturday 19th September and Sunday 20th September at the Kingswood Heritage Museum BS30 8XT to coincide with the Heritage Open Days.

If you have any tools, sewing machines, or items which could be sold to raise funds, you can bring them along to Kingswood Heritage Museum any Tuesday between 10am and 1pm or alternatively, contact us directly.

Thank you to everyone who came along to our Charity Tool Sale today which was very well attended due to the great weather.
We are open again on Bank Holiday Monday from 11am and there are still lots of electrical tools at great prices together with loads of hand tools for gardening and DIY.
