Young and free is a buddying and befriending service for disabled people living in the Bristol area. Reg charity number 1117939

We are a “buddying” and befriending service for disabled young people with physical and sensory impairments aged 16-25 in the Bristol area. As well as group wide events in a range of locations we also can offer a social outlet on a 1:1 basis which we actively encourage. We do a range of activities including:

Bowling
Theater trips
meals out
Disco’s and Quizzes

📚📅 Young & Free Annual General Meeting (AGM) 2026!

It's time to reflect on another fantastic year at Young & Free and look ahead to what's next! 📚

📅 Sunday 15th November 2026
🕑 2pm – 6pm
📍 St Peter's Church, Bishopsworth

We'll be sharing reports from the past year, celebrating our achievements and discussing our exciting plans for the year ahead!

🗓️ We'll also be planning our events and activities for the first half of 2027 so this is your chance to share your ideas and help shape our upcoming programme!

🎄✂️ Our AGM will be taking place alongside our Christmas decorations making session so there'll be plenty of festive creativity to enjoy too!

🎅 Santa Run Patchway 2026! 🎄

Fancy getting festive while supporting Young & Free? 💚

The Santa Run is taking place at Norman Scott Park, Patchway on Sunday 13th December, with 5K and 10K options.

We’d love to hear from anyone who would like to take part and raise money for Young & Free! Every penny raised will help us continue providing accessible activities and opportunities for disabled young people across Bristol and North Somerset. 💚

🎄 We know it’s early… but Christmas raffle prep has officially started! 🎁

We haven’t set a date for our Christmas Raffle just yet, but we’re already starting to collect some lovely prizes.

🦆🌿 We had a lovely day out at Slimbridge on Sunday! 🌿🦆

Lots of exploring, plenty of laughs and some amazing birds to see! 🐦😊 It was great to spend the day together and enjoy some time outdoors.

A big thank you to everyone who came along and to our brilliant volunteers for helping make it such a great day! 💚
