back in 2020 we had a Pretty Awesome VE Day 75 carnival / Street party planned with everything from food / 1p sweets in a jar / 1940's singers / pig farm / traditional games (all the prizes were a tin of Spam) / parade / beacons / charity groups / VE day resources / family VE day stories / vintage vehicles, / schools poster competition / showing Dad's Army film. it was going to be so much fun and then some little thing called Covid hit 😕 however I'm telling you this as this year is VE Day 80 Years so many of the resources and histories on our page are still relevant if you're either new to BS or you want your child's school project to be better than everyone else's 😁

A local community dance show will take place on 22-02-2025 at WISE campus Olympus Theatre. It is organised by South Gloucestershire Chinese association and funded by UWE bristol. Tickets £5-8. All proceeds will go to Southmead hospital. Please come along to enjoy and support our local communities.
