Tonight at Cubs, we got stuck into some Halloween fun with lovely, sticky slime, pumpkin crafts and monster drawings! 🎃👻

We also got the fire going and made delicious toasties over the hot embers 🔥🧀 A great evening of creativity and outdoor fun!

Tonight at Beavers we completed the Faith badge! We had a tour of St John’s Church and met the vicar Matt. The Beavers also asked questions about church life and what happens during a service. The night ended with a scavenger hunt around the church. Big thanks to Rev.Matt and St John’s for allowing us to visit! ⛪️

This week at Beavers we continued working on our faith badge. Tonight we learned about Aesop’s Fables and how stories can have underlying messages. The beavers were in groups and read a story each. After this they performed each one on the stage. Safe to say our group are very talented actors!

Tonight at Beavers we started the Faith badge! This week we looked at what Faith can look like and how we can use our promise in our lives. We ended the night making reflection paper chains. The beavers wrote down what makes them happy and what they can do their best at!

🛶 Raft testing! 🌿

Today we headed to our local nature reserve to put our homemade rafts to the test — and we had great success! 🎉 Despite there being very little water in the stream, every raft floated! 🙌

The Cubs had great fun testing their creations and playing in the water, before heading back to the hall for some team games.

A great evening of teamwork, creativity and plenty of fun! 👏🐾
