Bristol Wargaming Society - Lincombe Barn Lincombe Barn Wargames Society is the oldest wargaming club in Bristol. We are a friendly club that meets every week on Sunday afternoon in North Bristol.

We also meet once a month on a Monday evening, once a month on a Wednesday afternoon. The club has a tradition of being involved in the development of wargaming. Projects that the club has been involved in over the years include Lionel Tarr’s WWII rules (the first hobby modern wargaming rules as published by Donald Featherstone in War Games), Skirmish Wargames, Alien Squad Leader and the History of Wargaming Project. It was the first club to run a table top sale exclusively devoted to wargaming.
