🌿 Swachhata Pakhwada Campaign 2026 Concludes Successfully! 🌿
Yesterday marked the 15th and final day of the Swachhata Pakhwada Campaign at Goodwill Boys' Hostel, Sanarpatti Home. The programme focused on personal hygiene, healthy living, environmental responsibility, and sustaining the cleanliness practices promoted throughout the campaign.
The children participated in a handwashing and hygiene awareness session, received hygiene support materials, and joined in a tree plantation activity to promote a greener future. As the campaign came to a close, Goodwill Children's Homes Charitable Society reflected on 15 days of meaningful activities that inspired cleanliness, community participation, and environmental stewardship.

🌿 Swachhata Pakhwada Campaign 2026 Launched! 🌿

Goodwill Children's Homes Charitable Society, with the generous support of Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL), inaugurated the Swachhata Pakhwada Campaign 2026 on 1 July 2026 at Goodwill – Thriving Roots, KC Patti, Kodaikanal Hills.

Running from 1–15 July 2026, the campaign aims to raise awareness among children, families, and tribal communities on cleanliness, personal hygiene, safe sanitation, waste management, and environmental health. Together, they are encouraging community participation to build cleaner, healthier villages for all.

Goodwill Children's Homes Charitable Society was delighted to welcome Mr Solomon and his wife to Thandigudi Home recently. During their visit, they took time to inspect the facilities, including the Primary School, and showed great interest in the work we are doing to support the children.

We are truly grateful for their kindness and generosity. They have graciously pledged to support the painting of the kitchen and dining hall at their own expense, following the completion of the school painting project.

Everyone has been hard at work at Thandigudi, giving parts of the campus a fresh coat of paint and bringing new life to the surroundings. The transformation is incredible! Swipe through the before and after photos to see the difference.

Help Repair Desks at Sanarpatti Boys’ Hostel
We are looking for donations to help repair 10 worn benches and desks used daily for study and meals at Sanarpatti Boys' Home.
Goodwill India plans to replace the damaged tops with durable 18-gauge steel sheets, creating safer, stronger, and more hygienic furniture for the boys.

• Cost to renovate one bench-and-desk set: Rs. 5,000 [quote available on request]
• Number of sets needed: 10
• Total project cost: Rs. 50,000

Threads of Change 🧵✨
After six months of learning, growth, and determination, 25 women graduated from Thriving Roots’ tailoring program - gaining skills, confidence, and a pathway to independence. Each graduate received a certificate and a tailoring kit to begin her journey toward self‑reliance.
Made possible with the support of Goodwill UK & France, this milestone marks not just an ending, but the beginning of 25 empowered futures. 💛
