Saltford & Keynsham Flower Club

Saltford & Keynsham Flower Club Saltford & Keynsham Flower Club aims to bring together people with a love of flowers, plants and foliage. Membership costs £40 for the year.

Our members range from novices to experienced flower arrangers who are more than willing to pass on their expertise. We meet on the fourth Tuesday of every month at 14:00 in Saltford Hall, Wedmore Rd, Saltford, BS31 3BY. Our meetings are varied with demonstrations by skilled floral designers, practice sessions to create specific arrangements, outings to floral events and chances to join in with fl

ower events during the year. Visitors are welcome to both Demonstrations and Practice meetings, come to the Saltford Main Hall and pay on entry, £6 for a demonstration and £5 for a practice. There is a raffle of the stunning arrangements at the demonstration meetings and prizes at the practices. Refreshments are available too.

Don't forget Saltford and Keynsham Flower Club is meeting in the Wansdyke Room of Saltford Hall tomorrow. We'll be working on how to arrange our flowers in an environmentally responsible way. So come along with flowers, greenery and something to display them in and go home proud and smug with your efforts! It starts at 2 pm and visitors are welcome, £8 payable on the door.

Facebook is saying 'Add music' for this post, but it just wouldn't do justice to the delightful demonstration Fleur gave us this afternoon! Each arrangement was inspired by a different musical. We were tempted at the beginning of each with a snippet, then heard more as each was completed to see if we had guessed right! And weren't the results beautiful even without a sound track? Thank you Fleur!

A treat in store for our meeting on 28th of this month! Based on some our favourite things - flowers and music, this demonstration by Fleur (what an appropriate name!) should not be missed. Come along and enjoy!
