Where has the time gone?! Booking for June’s q***r reads is now open! 📚🎉

For Pride month, we will be discussing ‘None of the Above: Reflections on Life Beyond the Binary’ by Bristol’s own Travis Alabanza.
This honest memoir explores what it means to live outside the gender norms of society.

🗓️ Thursday 25th June 6.30pm - 8pm

🗓️ Saturday 27th June 10.30am - 12pm

💰 £3.00 suggested

ℹ️ Bookclub meet ups are held at the Watershed in the Waterside Corridor. This is an accessible building with gender neutral toilets as well as two accessible toilets. If you would like to join us when it’s quieter, join us for the Saturday morning meet up when the building tends to be less busy than Thursday evenings. Full access details are on our booking page and the Watershed website. Any questions please do drop us a message.

Join us for Q***r Choir in June! 🤩

Each session is stand alone, no experience of singing in a choir or reading music is needed- everything is taught by ear. Every month we welcome new folk to the group, so come along and give it a go! Any questions, just drop us a message.

🗓️ Friday June 19th
⏰ 7.15pm - 9.30pm Please arrive in plenty of time from 6.45pm for a 7.15pm start.
📍To***co Factory Theatres
💰Pay As You Can (see website for details)
Access Information: The entrance to To***co Factory Theatres is on the Raleigh Road side of the To***co Factory building. To***co Factory Theatres is fully wheelchair accessible with a ramp up into the building and a lift up to the Spielman Theatre where our choir takes place.
There is a quiet area next to the theatre, should you need to take some space away from the session at any time you are welcome to.
Gender neutral and gender specific toilets available as well as an accessible toilet.

A gloriously fun evening exploring improvisation, physicality, and ensemble work at last nights Q***r Stage: Acting. 🎭🤩 Thanks to everyone for coming along!

These sessions are a great way to meet new people, build confidence and performance skills.

In May we will be discussing Young Mungo by Douglas Stuart. This book follow Mungo Hamilton as he navigates teenage life, growing up q***r in hyper-masculine Scotland and falling in love with James despite their different religious upbringings.

In April we are discussing Monstrillo by Gerardo Sámano Córdova. This dark body horror set in Mexico City is ‘a thought-provoking meditation on grief, acceptance, and the monstrous sides of love and loyalty’
Please note this is a horror book and covers a lot of dark and sometimes graphic topics.
