🌱 Courgette Plant Request 🌱
Hi everyone,
Our gardener has had a bit of bad luck with this year’s courgettes, and unfortunately they haven’t been successful.
We were wondering if anyone might have a spare courgette plant (or two!) that they would be able to donate to Lawrence Weston Community Farm?
We would be very grateful for any help – thank you so much in advance 💚

Volunteers’ Week is the perfect time to say a huge thank you to the incredible people who make Lawrence Weston Community Farm what it is.

Every week, our volunteers give their time, energy, and care to support the farm—helping with everything from growing food and caring for animals to welcoming visitors and keeping the space thriving. Quite simply, we couldn’t do it without you.

Whether you’ve been with us for years or just joined recently, you are at the heart of our community. Your contribution makes a real difference, not just to the farm, but to everyone who visits and benefits from this special place.

If you’ve ever thought about getting involved, Volunteers’ Week is a great time to start—we’d love to welcome you.

Thank you for everything you do.

Our gardener has been busy here at Lawrence Weston Community Farm, and the garden is looking lovely!
Even with this hot weather, the sage, tomatoes, lettuce and morning glory are all growing really well. It’s always nice to see everything thriving and full of colour.

A big thank you to everyone helping to keep things growing for our community 🌱

This week is Mental Health Awareness Week, and we know how important it is to have safe, calm spaces to breathe, connect and just be.

Here at Lawrence Weston Community Farm, the animals, fresh air and green space are here for everyone in our community to enjoy.

Spending time outdoors, saying hello to the animals or having a quiet wander round the farm can really help lift your mood and reduce stress.

If you’re finding things tough at the moment, you’re not alone – pop down, bring a friend or the family, and take a moment for yourself.

We’d love to hear how the farm has helped your wellbeing – share your favourite farm memory or animal in the comments below. 💚
Take care of yourself and each other this Mental Health Awareness Week.

We’ve got more tiny hooves on the ground 🐐💛

Last Thursday brought another little flurry of arrivals here at Lawrence Weston Community Farm, and we’re completely smitten. These newest kids are already finding their feet (and their voices!), and we can’t get enough of their wobbly legs and curious faces.

If you’ve been following along with our first lot of babies, get ready for even more cuteness — the herd is growing.

Pop down to the farm and see if you can spot them bouncing about 🐾

Just when you thought our baby goats couldn’t get any cuter… 🐐✨

After our recent “they’re here!” post, we know lots of you have been popping down to meet the newest members of the farm. And we know you’ve been taking photos… 👀📸

So don’t keep them to yourselves! Share your best baby goat snaps in the comments or tag Lawrence Weston Community Farm so we can see them. We might even share a few of our favourites 💚

Warning: serious cuteness overload ahead.
