What is Transformers? It’s a scheme designed to help you to bring your ideas to life. You can apply for a grant of up to £1000 to help transform your community or improve the way young people are perceived in your area. Who can apply?
• Anyone from a youth group or school in Bristol up to 19 years old
• The young person/people applying must have the support of an adult
What sort of projects? Your
application should show how your project would benefit your local community in at least one (doesn’t have to be all) of the following ways:
• Make your community safer
• Make your community cleaner or green
• Improve the image of your community
• Improve the image of your youth group or school
• Help you and other young people interact with others in their community (eg residents, older people, people from different cultures in their area)
When can I apply? There are four application deadlines each year:
• 1st January
• 1st April
• 1st July
• 1st October
