We are happy to announce that we’re hosting another Volunteer Open Morning at Ashton Court Mansion on Sunday 20th September.

As we work towards bringing the Mansion into community ownership, there’s lots to do - from fundraising and events to marketing, research, cataloguing artefacts, and everything in between.

You don’t need to have a particular skill or lots of experience. If you’re interested in Ashton Court Mansion and would like to get involved, we’d love to meet you.

Come along, have a look around the Mansion, meet some of the people already involved and find out how you could help shape its future.

So… what’s been happening at Ashton Court Mansion?
The long gallery is being cleared! All the panelling, doors, woodwork and plaster work that has been stored there for years has been re catalogued and removed to the north west wing. The artefacts are now in the north west wing to free up the long gallery for an exciting new transformation!

Fantastic graffiti!

✉️ “Take this to the post office”.

We’re not sure when this sketch was drawn, but it’s one of our favourite pieces of graffiti in the Mansion.

It’s tucked away in the staircase leading to the roof, above what were once the servants’ quarters during the Victorian era, when Greville and Emily Smyth lived at Ashton Court.
