Indian Community of West of England ICWE is a common platform of Indian communities in Bristol and the West of England region. The Indian Community in West of England is quite diverse.

There are people of various faiths and languages with in the Indian community. There are 4 purpose built Christian church buildings that belong to the Indian Catholic Church, the Syro Malabar Church, the Indian Orthodox Church, and the Marthoma Church in Bristol. There are also 4 Sikh Gurudwaras, one Hindu Temple and few other places of worship places that belong to the Indian Community. The main

languages are Punjabi, Malayalam, Gujarati, Hindi, Tamil, Kannada, Telugu, Marathi, Bengali, Assamese, Kashmiri, Odia, and English. As per 2021 census, In Bristol, there were 8371 persons of Indian origin, and there were 5556 persons of Mixed White and Asian-Indian heritage. In South Gloucestershire, there were 4938 persons of Indian origin, and there were 2033 persons of Mixed White and Indian heritage. In Bath and North East Somerset, there were 1789 persons of Indian origin, and there were 1846 persons of Mixed White and Indian heritage. In North Somerset, there were 1067 persons of Indian origin, and there were 1191 persons of Mixed White and Indian heritage.
