Friends of Avon View Cemetery

Please do get involved in this for the British Trust for Ornithology and help map local green spaces such as AvonView Cemetery, Conham, Troopers Hill, the Netham, St George’s park and help contribute to the mapping of local bird populations and distribution. It’s quick and easy! Thanks

We need you to make sure your local Greenspace is included on our map ready for the Birds in Greenspaces survey! ➡️ https://app.bto.org/birds-in-greenspaces/public/map/greenspaces-viewer.jsp

You can use the map to search for mapped greenspaces near you, suggest new sites and changes to existing ones if there's something we've missed! 🗺️

The Birds in Greenspaces Project starts in April, and encourages everyone to record the birds in their local greenspaces, so we can discover their importance across the UK for nature and people.🌳🐦

Very grateful for the feedback regarding dogs, (or rather owners) which we’re working on.

Has anyone seen, or heard, something that’s made them smile in the churchyard recently? We saw this beautiful Red Admiral Butterfly, and Knot Grass moth caterpillar.
There are some beautiful leaves changing🍂 and birdsong too.
