With the lighter nights and warmer weather, Jacksdale Unit have grabbed their daysacks, loaded up the snacks and enjoyed undertaking walks in and around the Selston and Jacksdale areas.

We are so fortunate to have the open space to put into practice our Orienteering, Navigational and Map Reading skills taught over the winter months.

Be prepared to see more of us in and around the areas, and at upcoming Community events over the next couple of months!!

The Cadets at Jacksdale have been enjoying the lighter evenings over the last few months, conducting various Fieldcraft lessons and activities at our local Country Park.

This gives all the Cadets the ability to show that the theoretical lessons they have had over the winter and spring has sunk in.

- Camouflage and Consealment
- Harbour Drills
- Basha Building (shelters)
- Pairs Fire Manoeuvre
- Navigation
- First Aid... and plenty more to come.

Today MTC Jacksdale have been out helping with the community firefighters charity car wash. Jacksdale cadets helped raised over £700.
Team work, fun, laughter, and of course everyone got wet. Great efforts by all.
