BrightonSoup

BrightonSoup BrightonSoup a platform for small local projects to pitch for seed-funding at a uniquely social event Why Soup? It's also very tasty.

A fun and different night out for £5

£5 for food, refreshments, musical entertainment and a vote for which of 4 community projects gets your money. How does it work?

* Listen to 4 people give a quick passionate pitch on a community project that needs funding.

* Then eat from a selection of delicious soups from our volunteer chefs whilst chatting to people about the projects - enjoy yourself.

*

Vote for your favourite project - and the one with the most votes gets ALL the ticket money.

* Enjoy the entertainment until the winner is announced. It’s a fun, community, Dragon’s Den, where you get to be a Dragon. It's a cheap, healthy way of feeding people so we can give all the door money to the winning project. Inspired by Detroit Soup https://detroitsoup.buildinstitute.org but we are doing it Brighton & Hove style.

Daisy and Scarlett told us more.
Every 23 years, The Avant Garden will be gifted to the next generation of Avant Gardeners, who will nurture it, evolve it, and pass it forward. We want to involve as many artists as we can in this gift—and we believe everyone is some kind of artist! We’ll create a permanent cultural inheritance: each generation receives fertile ground and leaves it richer than they found it.

The £1000 funds composting tools to clear brambles—freeing precious time and energy for creative work instead of endless waste-hauling. Come and meet us on the Brighton Artist Open House trail in May!

Another great pitch at the Spring BrightonSoup!
