Alnoure Academy Arabic GCSE pathway أكاديمية النور ببرايتون Small groups taught by teachers with wide experience in the Arabic Language for all ages starting from three years old up to 16 years old.

Lessons will involve educational activities designed to help the children improve their learning skills.

📌 بدأنا يومنا الجميل بترحيب حار بالأطفال الأحباء وتبادل تحية الصباح بنشاط وحيوية.
📌تم أخذ الحضور والغياب والاطمئنان على وجود جميع الأطفال.
📌ناقشنا مع الأطفال حالة الجو اليوم ومن خلال النظر من النافذة استنتجنا معًا أنه مشمس 🌞 وبارد🥶.
📌قمنا بمراجعة الحروف والكلمات السابقة وتثبيتها بمشاركة الأطفال:

حرف (ب): بطة، بيت، باب،
حرف (ت):تفاح، تمساح، تاج،

📌 تعرفنا اليوم على حرفنا الجديد ، حرف الجيم (ج) وتدربنا على نطقه وصوته بشكل صحيح.

📌أنشطة تفاعلية وممتعة: تشكيل حرف (ج )بالعجين لتنمية مهاراتهم الحركية.

📌 تم تطبيق تمارين حرف (ج) في الكتاب المدرسي .

📌 We started our lovely day by warmly welcoming our dear children and exchanging morning greetings with enthusiasm and energy.
📌 We took attendance and checked that all the children were present.
📌 We discussed the weather with the children and looked out of the window. Together, we observed that the weather was sunny 🌞 and cold 🥶.
📌 Revision of Previously Learned Letters and Words:
Letter Alif (أ): Rabbit (أرنب ), Lion (أسد), Father (أب).
Letter Baa' (ب): Duck (بطة ), House (بيت), Door (باب).
Letter Taa' (ت): Apple (تفاح), Crocodile (تمساح), Crown (تاج).
Letter Thaa' (ث): Fox (ثعلب), Snake (ثُعبان), Snow (ثلج)
📌 Our New Letter of the Day: Jeem (ج)
Today, we introduced the Arabic letter Jeem (ج). The children practised pronouncing the letter and identifying its sound correctly.
📌 Words Beginning with the Letter Jeem:
Carrot 🥕
Bell 🔔
Cheese 🧀
Camel 🐪
📌 Fun and Interactive Activities:
The children made the letter Jeem (ج) using playdough to develop their fine motor skills.

We enjoyed an interactive story about the letter Jeem entitled “Jaser, Jamila and Jamal at School.”

The children completed the letter Jeem exercises in their schoolbooks.

🕌 Islamic Education:
🗣️ We revised and repeated the first three verses of Surah Al-Fatihah to help the children memorise and reinforce them.
🗣️ We also recited the fourth verse of Surah Al-Fatihah together as a group and practised repeating it.

خلال حصة هذا الأسبوع قمنا بالآتي:

* 🗣️ ممارسة الحوار باستخدام السؤالين: «كيف حالك؟» و«ما اسمك؟» والتدرب على الإجابة عنهما.

Assalamu Alaikum, Dear Parents, 🌷

Alhamdulillah, we have had another wonderful week filled with learning, revision and enjoyable activities. Our children have shown great enthusiasm and effort throughout the lessons! 🌟

📚 1. Arabic Language

This week, we focused on:

* ✏️ Practising writing our names in Arabic.
* 🗣️ Practising simple conversations using the questions “How are you?” (كيف حالك؟) and “What is your name?” (ما اسمك؟), along with their answers.
* ☀️ Revising the days of the week and different weather conditions.
* 🔤 Revising the Arabic letters Seen (س) and Sheen (ش).
* 📖 Learning the three short vowel marks (Harakat): Fatha (َ), Kasra (ِ) and Damma (ُ), and practising their pronunciation.
* ✍️ Learning the letter Saad (ص) and its different forms at the beginning, middle and end of words.

🕌 2. Islamic Studies

* 📖 Revised Surah Al-Humazah and Hadith 1.
* 🌹 Continued learning about the life of our beloved Prophet Muhammad ﷺ. We learnt about Halimah Al-Sa’diyah, his foster mother, and the important role she played in caring for him during his early childhood.
* 🐳 Learnt the story of Prophet Yunus (AS) and discussed the importance of patience, making du’a and placing our trust in Allah.

تعرّفنا على حرف الثاء، وتعلّمنا أشكاله في أول الكلمة ووسطها وآخرها.

السلام عليكم ورحمة الله وبركاته،

بدأ يومنا الدراسي باستقبال تلاميذنا الأعزاء بنشيد صباحي مفعم بالحيوية والنشاط، بهدف إدخال البهجة إلى نفوسهم وتخفيف التوتر.

- تم تسجيل الحضور والغياب خلال فقرة المحادثة الصباحية المعتادة، وقد أسعدنا كثيرًا ملاحظة التطور الملحوظ في مهارات أبنائنا اللغوية وقدرتهم على المحادثة.

- تحدثنا مع التلاميذ عن الاختبار، واستمعنا إلى دعاء تيسير الأمور، سائلين الله لهم التوفيق والنجاح.

- بدأنا يومنا باسم الله تعالى، متوكلين عليه ومستعينين به.
- أدى التلاميذ اختبار التربية الإسلامية التحريري.
- بعد ذلك تم تقسيم التلاميذ إلى مجموعات للعمل التعاوني، حيث:
- تولت إحدى المعلمات تسميع الآيات الخمس الأولى من سورة العلق.
- وتولت معلمة أخرى طرح أسئلة حول السيرة النبوية الشريفة، لإتاحة الفرصة للتلاميذ الذين واجهوا صعوبة في الجزء الكتابي لإظهار فهمهم شفهيًا.
- أما المعلمة الثالثة فقد عملت على تدريب التلاميذ على قراءة الحروف بأشكالها الثلاثة.
-التلاميذ الذين كانوا ينتهون من ذلك كله، طلبنا منهم رسم رسومات عن العائلة والمدرسة، ورأينا المواهب الجميلة التي يمتلكونها.

- قمنا بشرح اسمي الإشارة: هذا وهذه، وخلال الدرس راجعنا مفهوم المذكر والمؤنث، والتاء المربوطة، وياء المتكلم.

- في مادة التربية الإسلامية تم ترديد الآيات (6-8) من سورة العلق.

📝 الواجب

الاستعداد للاختبار القادم:

1. مهارة القراءة:
- قراءة الحروف مع الحركات الثلاث (الفتحة، الضمة، الكسرة).
- معرفة أسماء الحروف.
- ملاحظة: السكون لن يكون ضمن الاختبار؛ لأن التلاميذ لم يتدربوا عليه بعد بشكل كافٍ.

2. الفهم القرائي:
- مراجعة الدروس الثلاثة:
- اسمي
- إلى المدرسة
- عائلتي

سيتم قراءة أحد هذه النصوص أو نص مشابه على التلاميذ، ثم توجيه مجموعة من الأسئلة المتعلقة بالنص، ويُطلب من التلميذ الإجابة عنها شفهيًا.

3. التعبير الشفهي:
- ستُعرض صورة أو رسمة على التلاميذ، وسيُطلب منهم التعبير عنها شفهيًا باستخدام جمل مناسبة.

واجب اختياري:

التدرب على قراءة الكلمات الثلاثية الواردة في فيديو سبق وتمّ إرساله، وسيتم إرسال هذه الكلمات في ملف مستقل لتسهيل المراجعة.

Assalamu Alaikum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuh,

We began our day by welcoming our students with an uplifting morning nasheed designed to create a positive atmosphere and help them feel relaxed and ready to learn.

- Attendance was taken during our regular morning conversation session, and we were delighted to see the noticeable progress our students have made in their speaking and communication skills.

- We discussed the assessment and listened to a supplication asking Allah to grant ease and success.
- We started our day in the name of Allah, placing our trust in Him and seeking His help in all our affairs.
- Students completed the written Islamic Studies assessment.
- Afterwards, students worked in small groups:
- One teacher listened to students recite the first five verses of Surah Al-'Alaq.
- Another teacher asked questions about the Prophet’s biography (Seerah), giving students who found the written section challenging an opportunity to demonstrate their understanding orally.
- The third teacher worked with students on reading Arabic letters in their different forms.

•The pupils who had finished all of that were asked to draw pictures of their families and their school, and we were delighted to see the wonderful talents they possess.
- We introduced the demonstrative pronouns "هذا" (this, masculine) and "هذه" (this, feminine). During the lesson, we also reviewed masculine and feminine nouns, taa' marbutah (ة), and yaa' al-mutakallim.

- Islamic education, we covered verses 6-8 of surah Al-alaq.

📝Homework

Preparation for the upcoming assessment:

1. Reading Skills
- Reading letters with the three short vowels ( َ - ِ -ُ ).
- Recognizing and naming the letters.
- Note: Sukoon ( ْ ) will not be included in the assessment, as students have not yet had sufficient practice with it.

📌 بعد الانتهاء من امتحان الكتابة قمنا بالمراجعة لامتحان التربية الإسلامية في الأسبوع الذي يليه بإذن الله.
📌 أخيرًا و للترفيه بعد يوم طويل قمنا بنشاط رياضي في آخر الحصة مما أدخل السعادة عليهم.

📌 We talked with the pupils about the exam to ease their anxiety.
📌 We discussed the rules to follow during the exam.
📌 Preparing the pupils for the exam (reading the lessons and practising conversation).

📌 Conversation exam.
💥 We discussed with the pupils how to answer and how to write sentences correctly for the composition exam in the second period.

💎 Second Period 💎

📌 Composition exam (writing a piece about the summer holiday).
📌 After finishing the writing exam, we revised for next week's Islamic Education exam, God willing.
📌 Finally, as a bit of fun after a long day, we did a sports activity at the end of the lesson, which made the pupils very happy.

👩🏼‍🏫 الموضوع: العائلة ومراجعة مفردات البيت

👋 بدأنا الحصة بالترحيب بالأطفال، وترديد تحية السلام ونشيد «صباح الخير»، ثم تسجيل الحضور والغياب.

تعرّف الأطفال على أفراد العائلة، وخاصة الأخ والأخت، وتدرّبوا على العبارات: «هذا أخي»، «هذه أختي»، «هذه عائلتي»، كما تعرّفوا على الفرق بين الولد والبنت من خلال الصور والترديد.

📚 مفردات العائلة: أب، أم، أخ، أخت، ولد، بنت، عائلة.

🏠 مفردات البيت: بيت، غرفة، مطبخ، حمّام، باب، نافذة، سرير. وتدرّب الأطفال على العبارات: «هذا بيتي»، «هذه غرفتي».

🍔بعد الاستراحة، تعرّف الأطفال على الاتجاهات: فوق، تحت، أمام، خلف، من خلال الحركة والألعاب، واستمعوا إلى قصة قصيرة وأجابوا عن أسئلة بسيطة حول أحداثها.

🎨 شارك الأطفال في نشاط يدوي لصنع شكل الثعلب، وتدرّبوا على رسم الخطوط المتعرّجة، وتعلّموا مفردات ثعلب، ثوم، ثوب، ثعبان، ثلج.

اختُتمت الحصة بمراجعة مفردات العائلة والبيت وتشجيع الأطفال على ترديد الكلمات والعبارات التي تعلّموها، ثم الاستعداد للمغادرة بأمان. 👋

👩🏼‍🏫 Topic: Family and Revision of House Vocabulary

👋 We began the lesson by welcoming the children, repeating the Islamic greeting and singing the “Good Morning” song. We then took the register.

The children learnt about family members, particularly brothers and sisters, and practised the phrases: “This is my brother”, “This is my sister” and “This is my family”. They also learnt the difference between a boy and a girl through pictures and repetition.

📚 Family Vocabulary:
Father — أب
Mother — أم
Brother — أخ
Sister — أخت
Boy — ولد
Girl — بنت
Family — عائلة

🏠 House Vocabulary:
House — بيت
Room — غرفة
Kitchen — مطبخ
Bathroom — حمّام
Door — باب
Window — نافذة
Bed — سرير

The children practised the phrases: “This is my house” and “This is my room”.

After the break, the children learnt the directions: above, below, in front and behind through movement and games. They also listened to a short story and answered simple questions about its events.

🎨 The children took part in a craft activity to make a fox. They practised drawing wavy lines and learnt the following vocabulary:

Fox — ثعلب
Garlic — ثوم
Traditional garment — ثوب
Snake — ثعبان
Snow — ثلج

The lesson ended with a revision of family and house vocabulary. The children were encouraged to repeat the words and phrases they had learnt before preparing to leave safely. 👋

💛 أدّى التلاميذ الامتحانات المقررة بشكل جيد.
💛 بعد الانتهاء من الامتحانات، أجرينا إملاءً لبعض الكلمات، وقد أظهر التلاميذ أداءً جيدًا وموفقًا.
💛 أعدنا قراءة درس «العمل الصالح»، ثم قمنا بحل الأسئلة المتعلقة بالدرس.

💥 I started the lesson by welcoming the students and taking attendance.

💥 We began by reviewing the Arabic alphabet and short vowel marks.
and vowel marks (Harakat).

💥 We conducted the Oral Reading Test and the Oral Islamic Studies Test. During the tests, the students practised reading the lesson “My Family” (Page 17) with the support of Ms Nadia and Ms Fatima.

💥 After the tests, we reviewed the writing activity “Write About Yourself”, answering the following questions:

• What is your name?
• What are your father’s and mother’s names?
• How old are you?
• Do you have any brothers or sisters?
• Which country are you from?

💥 We checked and corrected the homework on Page 9, Exercise 5.

💥 After the break, we completed the questions from Test 1 on Page 63 of the Reading Book.

💥 We reviewed the lesson on Masculine and Feminine Nouns.

💥 We revised the lesson on Nouns in the Grammar Book and completed the exercises on Page 23.
