Rotary Club of Brighton UK The Rotary Club of Brighton is in Rotary District 1145, and is possibly the world's oldest Town Club, outside the USA. New members very welcome!

It was founded on 8th April 1913, and was chartered on 1st November 1917, late being chartered owing to WW1. The Rotary Club is part of Rotary International, an international service organization with a stated purpose of bringing business, community and other people together in order to promote goodwill and offer humanitarian services. As of 2014, it has a worldwide membership of 1.22 million spread across 34,282 clubs worldwide.

General information

The club meets for lunch every Wednesday 12:30 for 1:00pm for fellowship and to plan help for both local and international charities. Also has a meet and greet at 6-00pm on the first and third Mondays of each month in the Upper deck (veranda) behind the bar the Royal Albion Hotel Old Steine, Brighton.
