BIG HELP OUT - Sunday 7th June, A huge vote of thanks to Rob, W and Richard and Agnes - and of course Unit Staff and Cadets that turned up on a rota basis throughout the day to support Rob and help make this an enjoyable and productive day, particular thanks to all the cadets that helped run our stall and helped the rotory club too. Thanks Sharna (a Cadets Mum) who stayed for the entire time her cadets were there and helped us too, Fundraising for our unit needs is essential at present as we have so many needs. Thanks everyone.

The Sea Cadets, Army Cadets UK, Royal Air Force Air Cadets, and Cadets In Schools help to give young people a real advantage in education and work.

A 2021 study by the University of Northampton found that Cadets develop key communication, teamwork and leadership skills and become more confident and resilient, setting them up for future success.

And under a new ‘30 by 30’ campaign launched last year, the Government has ambitious plans to expand Cadet opportunities for a new generation of young people.
