A small act that made a big difference

When we replaced our carpet with a new hard flooring, it was really important that we wasted as little as possible. We asked the fitter to carefully remove the carpet and underlay and we listed it on Facebook Market for free.

We were overwhelmed with messages and it ended up going to a lady who had moved her and her 4 kids 13 times in 2 years and finally for a place to call her own, but it was completely empty. She explained this would fit two of her kids rooms and they’ll be so excited. 🥹

We could have made some money from selling it, but it feels much better to be able to make someone else’s life a little more joyful.

Harvested tree bark to make your walls look gorgeous, improve the acoustics and even add a layer of insulation.

So sustainable, can’t wait to share more on this decorating project 🤩

Another win - eco dishwasher tablets 🍽️

I finally persuaded the one who’s hard to persuade that we need to swap our dishwasher tablets for a brand that isn’t laced with harmful chemicals.

Charlie (hubby) was yet to be convinced that there’s an eco brand that actually works. He’s been proven wrong. We now use the brand for our dishwasher as well as our surface spray.
