A little intro to me and Sustainable Squad

From Ibiza to around the world and then to Brighton
From radio presenting to podcast creating
From Exercising to triathlons to London 2012 Olympics

I’m married, we have a border terrier called Vinnie and we chose not to have children. But we love being in the lives of all the children around us.

I started Sustainable Squad to learn how to live with less impact on the planet.

Yesterday we cycled 47 miles for charity

It was hard, my bum hurt, we were exhausted, but we got to the end, motivated by all the amazing things FareShare Sussex and Surrey | Food Waste Charity are doing to reduce food waste and feed people in need.

We used The Downs Link, which connects the North and South Downs, which I highly recommend as it’s beautiful, flat and takes you through so many lovely parts of these counties.

4 weeks until the ride - best get a bike 🫣

Thank you to the lovely Millie who has let me borrow her mountain bike for Big Surplus Cycle on 3rd October.

Over a 1/3 of all the food we produce goes to waste and could go to bellies and not bins. Fare Sussex and Surrey work with over 280 local charities every year to make sure this food is saved and sent to people who need it most.
