🌈 Pride is just around the corner!

As we get ready for the first weekend of August, we want everyone to have an amazing, safe, and enjoyable Pride. 💖

Here are a few ways to help keep yourself safe while celebrating:
✨ Know where the Safe Spaces are
🚑 Familiarise yourself with First Aid points
💬 Look out for the RUOK? team if you or someone else needs support
📍 Plan how you’ll get home and stay with your friends where possible
💧 Stay hydrated, wear sunscreen, and take breaks if you need to

Remember, it’s okay to ask for help. There are plenty of friendly volunteers and support services throughout the weekend to make sure everyone can celebrate safely.

You’ll now find the Youth Advice Centre in our temporary home at Jubilee Library while our brand-new, purpose-built space is being prepared on the ground floor.

Our temporary space is fully open and includes:
🛋️ A comfortable waiting area
🍎 Access to the Food Market
👋 Reception support
🧍Private rooms for one-to-one appointments

Opening hours:
• Monday–Wednesday: 10am–5pm
• Thursday: 10am–7pm
• Friday: 10am–4pm

Come and say hello over the summer! We’ll be here until we move into our exciting new permanent space after the summer holidays. 💙
