The Sussex Indian Punjabi Society (SIPS for short) is a friendly group that was formed in May 1997 in Brighton & Hove and surrounding areas by members of the local Indian Punjabi community. OUR MISSION & VISION

Sussex Indian Punjabi Society (SIPS) is a friendly group that was formed 25 years ago, aiming to inspire, empower, enrich, serve and bring together the local Indian Punjabi, North Indian a

nd wider community. At SIPS’s we:

Provide a voice for the local Indian Punjabi & North Indian Community

Promote, maintain, teach our and wider India’s heritage, particularly for the younger generation

Organise cultural and social events including Vaisakhi & Diwali incorporating the wider community

Support other worthy causes including disaster relief funds

SIPS has no annual membership fee, while are events are open to all, most require an advanced ticket purchase. Over the years SIPS functions have grown in popularity and we are proud that our functions are now an integral & important part of the local Indian community’s calendar.

Hello SIPS family!

A huge thank you to everyone for making last night’s Diwali celebration at Jamun a huge success! The evening was filled with warmth, laughter, and the beautiful spirit of Diwali, and it was wonderful to see everyone come together to make the event so special.

A special thank you to our committee members for all their hard work, to Rahul and his team at Jamun for the delicious food and fantastic venue setup, and to Gurteg, our amazing DJ, for keeping the energy high and the dance floor buzzing all night!

We couldn’t have done it without each of you. Looking forward to many more celebrations together!

A huge thank you to everyone for making last night’s Diwali celebration at Jamun a huge success! The evening was filled with warmth, laughter, and the beautiful spirit of Diwali, and it was wonderful to see everyone come together to make the event so special.
