Join us tomorrow for a chat and a cup of tea, meet with other parents or get some support with feeding – we’re here every Tuesday.

We are an independent community support group run by fully trained volunteers - Claire, one of our Breastfeeding Counsellors, is doing the Mid Sussex Triathlon on Sunday to raise funds for us. If you're able to support us please visit her JustGiving page, we'd be hugely grateful.

Claire, one of our Breastfeeding Counsellors, is doing the Mid Sussex Triathlon to raise funds for the drop-in. We are all volunteers and rely on donations to help keep the drop-in running (no pun intended!). If you're able to support us, we'd be hugely grateful.

new course starting in September if anyone is interested in volunteering as a breastfeeding peer supporter ...

We’re offering a free 10-week course starting 23rd September 2026, running on Wednesday mornings at the Moulsecoomb Family Hub. We will take a break for the autumn half term.

We are looking for people who:
• Are passionate about supporting families with their breastfeeding journey
• Have breastfed
• Enjoy talking to and meeting new people
• Can volunteer for 6 months or more
• Are willing to become a registered SCFT volunteer (DBS check, interview, references and some online training — all free)

Our amazing volunteers work alongside the Specialist Infant Feeding Team and Healthy Child Programme staff in our MILK drop-ins, which run across the city on weekdays.

If this is of interest to you, please email Vanessa at: [email protected]

Partners, older children and family support welcome.

Tea and coffee are provided, if you are able to give a donation to contribute to our room hire costs this will help keep us running.
