READ International delivers collaborative, student led initiatives to improve access to education across the world and increase youth participation in the global community. The Brighton and Sussex branch of the READ International project mostly collects books from the local area, raises funds for library renovation, and does its best to raise awareness of the project. We sell cakes and books in th

e Moulsecoomb and Falmer campuses of Brighton University and sometimes host other events, so watch this space for more information! If you have any ideas how to raise funds or awareness, or if you'd like to volunteer with us yourself, please don't hesitate to contact us through Facebook or the email below. Although all the current volunteers are from Brighton, this is a join project between Brighton and Sussex universities, and we welcome support from anyone in the Brighton and Hove area, whether they're a student or not.
