📦 GPSR: What Etsy sellers need to know!

If you sell handmade products on Etsy, you may have come across the General Product Safety Regulation (GPSR).

These regulations came into effect on 13 December 2024 and can affect sellers offering covered products to customers in the EU and Northern Ireland.

I've put together a simple guide covering what GPSR is, the information you may need to provide, how it relates to Etsy listings and the options available if you don't want to sell to these regions.

As requirements can vary depending on your products and circumstances, always check the latest official guidance before making changes to your shop.

Meet The Maker! - Martina 🧡

Martina Gilli, known to students as Tina The Tutor, is an experienced teacher and tutor based in Hove, having grown up in Italy and South Africa.

In 2025, Martina decided to write her first illustrated children’s book, Ali’s First Day, inspired by her own childhood and the experiences of her many students. With the vertiginous rise of AI, she was adamant her work would be written and illustrated entirely by herself and a professional illustrator.

This is her first year selling on Etsy and she is so thrilled to be part of this community.

Tickets are on sale now via our eventbrite!🔗 Early Bird tickets have no sold out but 2nd Release Tickets are now on sale! Plus we also have a special 2 for 1 offer for the 2nd Release, perfect if you are planning on coming with someone else!

So, what is a craft party?

A craft party is a mix of drop in craft workshops open to everyone(not just team members), you will be able take all your wonderful creations home with you, there will also be a charity raffle and what's a party without cake?!🎂

This year we will have a fantastic mix of workshops for you to take part in throughout the night! There’s skills to be learnt and fun to be had with workshops ranging from jewellery making, lino printing and more! The full list of workshops and hosts will be released soon so keep an eye out!

(If you are a maker and would like to host a workshop, please send us an email as soon as possible with what you would like to teach)

The night is open to everyone, so get your tickets and bring your friends and family for a great night out!

Everyone will also get some free goodies on the night!
