On Saturday the Launch workshop for Various Voices 2030 took place. Thank you to everyone who turned up to take part, including the Mayor of Brighton and Hove!

In 2025, thanks to the hard work of our amazing Bid Team representing Actually Gay Men's Chorus, Brighton Gay Men's Chorus and Rainbow Chorus, Brighton was chosen to host ‘Various Voices’, the largest Q***r choir festival in Europe.

In 2030 we’ll be welcoming the LEGATO Choirs family from across Europe, with around 4,500 performers and over 100 choirs bringing performances, music, and joy to our wonderful city.

Lots of amazing ideas were shared, with loads of hard work, planning and collaboration to go. It’s going to be something special. But one thing is for sure - we are Stronger Together!

Happy New Year to you all! If you fancy singing in a choir our next New Members event is on Saturday 17th January 2026 - why not give it a go?

Our Musical Director will have an informal listen to your voice to see which section of the choir might suit you. Afterwards there will be the opportunity to take part in our RC+ session led by our MD to get a taster and see if it’s for you - it’s always a lot of fun.
