Kennedy Street Recovery Founded by Kevin and Clare Kennedy in 2016, our Brighton based recovery project helps the wider community look beyond the stigma and restriction of addiction.

y starts with connection and support from others in the recovery community, all of our volunteers, hub, recovery and business volunteers, have a heart for our aims and objectives. We truly believe that by supporting someone on their journey of recovery, self-discovery and supporting them to identify their gifts & strengths, people can go on to achieve their greatest potential. We offer a number of services under our umbrella:
• Recovery Hub: based in Brighton where we offer support and signposting to anyone interested in Recovery, including family members

We’re excited to launch the next round of our Self-Employment Course this June!

The programme combines group learning with follow-up 1:1 support, covering topics including business planning, budgeting, marketing, and confidence building in a supportive recovery-focused environment.

🗓️ Course Dates:
• Tuesday 16 June
• Tuesday 30 June
• Tuesday 7 July

⏰ 11am–2:30pm
📍Phoenix Art Space

Attendance on all three sessions is required.

Thanks to funding from the Albert Gubay Charitable Foundation, the course is being offered on a pay-what-you-can basis to help keep opportunities accessible while supporting future community programmes.
