Could you help give us a new home?

The Kennedy Street Recovery Hub has been delivering recovery support, groups, workshops and community activity services in the heart of Brighton for many years and now we're looking to expand to a second venue! We're asking if any of our friends and allies have a space that could provide us with a second home in Brighton.

We're looking for a welcoming and accessible space, where we will provide the community - one that we could hire on a regular, longer-term basis that is currently available or potentially becoming available. We'd be very happy to consider different types of spaces and would welcome the opportunity to discuss any possibilities you think might be suitable.

If this sounds like something you could help with, please email Clare at: [email protected]

Earlier this month, Sarah celebrated 7 years in recovery 🌟

"My mantra used to be:

'This will have to do.'

Today it is:

'This WILL do.'"

Seven years ago, Sarah couldn't see a way forward.

Tomorrow, we'll be sharing the story of how one small moment of hope became a life that "still feels like a miracle."

Sarah spent years believing there was no way back.

Then she walked into a room and saw people who looked like her.

"For the first time in a very long time, I felt a tiny glimmer of hope. Just maybe… maybe I could do this too."

That moment became the beginning of a completely different life.

💌 Sarah's full recovery story is coming to our newsletter next week.

Looks can be deceptive. 🍷

Just a little glass of wine.

It doesn’t look like much.

But that little glass of wine can hold everything.

Your home.

Your career.

Your savings.

Your relationships.

Your children.

Your self-worth.

Your hopes.

Your future.

It looks so small.

But addiction has a way of fitting an entire life inside a single glass.

For some people, it’s just a drink.

For others, it’s the beginning of losing everything.

And the hardest truth?

It’s far easier to pick up the first glass than it is to put down the last.

The good news is that no matter how much has been lost, recovery is possible.

There is always hope. ❤️
