Brighthelm Centre Brighthelm Community Centre and gardens is centrally located on North Road, a 3 min walk from Brighton Station.

We have a professional auditorium and a range of meeting rooms for hire. Brighthelm is a well established, values driven organisation based just two minutes from Brighton Station in the heart of the North Laine. It is a Community Centre and part of the United Reformed Church. We provide a unique venue for meetings, conferences, training and educational inspiration which is available to hire to the

public. We have an exceptional Auditorium for gigs and performance events, with 300 seated and 350 standing space. As well as some of the most varied and fully equipped central meeting rooms for hire in Brighton. We also run a pre-school, the Bright Now Cafe, and a community garden, all tucked away in the city centre!

Our next Silver Strings Open Session is happening next week, and we’d love to welcome you

Whether you’ve never held a bow before or haven’t played since school, this is a completely safe, lighthearted, and supportive space to explore music-making. No experience of any kind is needed, just curiosity and listening. We even provide the instruments

Come along, meet our wonderful players and try out a violin, viola, or cello. Playing together is great for the brain, brilliant for wellbeing, and a wonderful way to connect with others in the Brighton and Hove community
