We did it! 🎉

We're so pleased to share that we have once again been awarded gold accreditation by Investors in People, recognising our commitment to delivering excellence through our people. This prestigious accreditation reflects an inclusive people-centred culture built on compassionate, values-led leadership, where colleagues feel supported, empowered, and connected to a shared social purpose.

The assessment highlighted learning and development as a major strength, where staff are actively supported to grow, develop, and contribute to the charity’s mission.

We were thrilled to hear that one of our previous work placement participants has secured a role with the NHS, following his placement at the University of Brighton! 🎉

Our Work Placement Coordinator, Judith, had this to say: "This opportunity has been invaluable. When people have been out of work for some time, confidence and self-belief can be just as important as qualifications."

Many of the cases we take on in our Immigration Legal service team can take years of hard work to achieve a successful outcome in the courts.

Hearing back from previous clients about how much our work has changed their lives gives us the momentum to keep going.

Our Immigration Legal Service has helped countless vulnerable people achieve refugee status in the UK, including Abdi.

Going through the many legal processes that it takes to get to this point is long, arduous and draining so our work is incredibly valuable and lifechanging.

Thank you to everyone who visited our stall at the Burgess Hill Summer Fayre yesterday!

At our stall, attendees could contribute to our board, answering the question, 'what helps your mental health?' Have a look at our photos to see the great answers people offered, and get inspired to improve your mental wellbeing.

We also held a tombola, with many luxury socks donated by Peper Harow. We raised £120 for our services in and around the Burgess Hill area!

Pride Month is an opportunity for us to celebrate the LGBTQ+ community and the progress made towards equality, while highlighting where we need to do more 🌈

Equal rights also means being treated equitably and fairly when it comes to mental health care - which requires us to create safe, affirming and culturally responsive environments for LGBTQ+ mental health.

LGBTQ+ people may experience various difficulties that mean they are more likely to face mental health struggles, such as discrimination, rejection, homophobia, transphobia or difficult experiences coming out.

At Pathfinder West Sussex, all our services are inclusive and some of our partners offer specialist services for the LGBTQ+ community.
