Young Oasis outdoor arts trips this summer saw the groups trekking the beautiful East Sussex countryside, with a stop off at Southease YHA.

Each year (funding allowing!) the Young Oasis team takes children affected by parental drug and alcohol use outside and into nature. Together they walk, climb, tell stories and take part in creative activities like map-making.

The journeys to and from, by train or minibus, form part of the adventure. It's a joy to see the children making connections through shared experiences both big and small.

Thanks to for having us!

Our fabulous colleague Helen will be running the Brighton Marathon Weekend Marathon for Oasis this Sunday. She has been training so hard and with a few injuries to boot, not to mention her day job at Oasis!

Please support Helen's fundraising efforts if you can - all proceeds go to Oasis Project's vital services for women, children and families affected by substance use.

Our incredible, inspirational colleague Mel celebrated 25 years with Oasis Project this week!

We are so lucky to have Mel leading our S*x Worker's Outreach Project. For all her knowledge and experience, a more humble coworker you could not hope for.

Having started at Oasis as a volunteer over 25 years ago before going on to a paid role in the earliest version of our S*x Worker's service, Mel has since led the project, adapting to many changes in this complex area of work.

To this day, Mel continues late night outreach every Wednesday and her focus is absolutely and always on the needs and experiences of the women she supports.

Thank you, Mel - we love you.

A huge thank you to the amazing parents/carers and students at for supporting us through your International Women’s Day event! 💜

It was such a joy to spend time together creating collages, sharing ideas, and celebrating the strength and creativity of women and girls. We were also incredibly inspired by the powerful speech from a student, Char, which was a reminder of how passionate and thoughtful the next generation truly is.

We’re so grateful for the funds you raised and for the warm welcome you gave us. Your support helps us continue our work and makes a real difference.

Thank you for standing with us and celebrating International Women’s Day in such a meaningful way.

Yesterday some of the Oasis team took part in Trauma-Informed Approaches training.

A great opportunity to reflect on how we embed trauma-informed practice in our work and strengthen the environments we create for the people we support.

We explored key principles including safety, trust, collaboration, empowerment and cultural awareness.

Thanks Chrissy Bulling for such an insightful session 🙌
