The Information, Advice and Support Services Network (IASSN) is on Facebook!

About them:
Under the Children and Families Act 2014, it’s a legal requirement that all local authorities provide disabled children, young people, and those with Special Educational Needs (SEN) – along with their parents – access to free, impartial Information, Advice and Support (IAS) services.

The IASSN is funded by the Department for Education (DfE) to support this vital work.

You can learn more about who they are and what they do, here: https://councilfordisabledchildren.org.uk/about-us

Follow their page for information on their work, celebrating and promoting IAS services, providing guidance, best practice tips, and much more...

We want disabled children and young people and those with special educational needs to have full and happy childhoods, to fulfil their potential, and be active within the community.
