Oasis Community Shop supports households in the Hangleton area with low cost food and a friendly community.

We are open every Wednesday at 10am - 12pm at Oasis Church.

A huge thank you to our huge donation from City Warmth Plumbing & Heating Ltd - we have enough toilet roll for a LONG TIME!

We are so grateful to anyone that donates to us - big or small. It all makes a difference!

We are particularly in need of toiletries and chocolate treats for our guests - you can donate directly to the community shop on a Wednesday from 10am or other days in the week when the church is open.

We had a great morning serving 22 families from our community including 7 new families! Heres an example of our small and large packs and what could be included. Ultimately you decide, it's your choice!

Small packs are £5 (15 items)
Large packs are £10 (24 items)

We are open every Wednesday from 10am-12pm. Your first visit is completely free!

We just had our busiest morning yesterday! 10 new guests 🎉

Come along to our community shop to find out more....your first visit is completely *free*

You can then decide if you would like to become a member (£6 for 6 months) moving forwards and whether to purchase a small pack (£5) or a large pack (£8).

Free tea and coffee and sweet treats too.

Oasis Community Shop is now open, run by Emmanuel Church. Free drinks & snacks and a friendly team are on hand to make you comfortable. A Money Advice Plus advisor is in attendance to help with benefits, debt and other financial issues.

The community shop offers heavily discounted (rather than completely free) food, but with no referral required, and no limit on the number of visits. It is geared toward people who are struggling with the cost of living in the longer term.

The Community Shop has a membership model. A six month membership will cost £6. Each time you visit, you will be offered a £5 or £8 selection of food. The food will be worth at least double what you actually pay (compared to supermarket prices). Your first visit will be free of charge, so you can decide if you like it and want to sign up for a six month membership. Once you’re a member, you can visit every week, or just when you need to.
