We think removing the protection of the Equality Act for "gender critical beliefs" could better protect trans, non-binary and gender diverse people. It could support organisations to properly protect this marginalised community, whose rights we believe are currently being attacked and politicised.

GLOWchoirBrighton are so excited to be starting off Trans Pride with our singing at Victoria Gardens this Saturday!!

We've been practising, getting prepared in voice and spirit, making things, and can't wait to be part of this much needed, extra important pride event on Saturday.

Hope to see you there to support the rights of trans, non-binary, intersex, genderfluid, agender, and all gender diverse people, and stand together with LGBTQIA+ people and allies who support sticking together and supporting each other's human rights.

Just 7 short days until we’re marching again! This year it’s more important than ever that we show our resilience, perseverance and fearlessness. See you all at Victoria Gardens at 11am.

It’s Non‑Binary Awareness Week! A time to honour and uplift non‑binary people — those whose gender doesn’t fit neatly into “male” or “female.” 💜

💛 Non-binary is a term someone may use to describe their gender when it doesn’t align with just “male” or “female.” Non‑binary people may identify with both, neither, fluidly shift, or have a uniquely different gender.

🗣️ Use the name and pronouns they share: It shows respect. If you're unsure, just ask politely — and if you slip up, apologise, correct yourself, and move on

🚫 Avoid assumptions: Don’t presume pronouns or appearance—everyone's expression is different. Most non-binary folk use they/them, but many use she/her, he/him, neopronouns, or no pronouns.

🏢 Advocate inclusively: Push for gender‑neutral bathrooms, non‑binary friendly policies, and inclusive documents in schools, workplaces, and government.

✅ Listen and learn: Don’t worry about knowing everything—being supportive means being open, accepting, and trying to do better every time.

Together, we can create a world where non‑binary people are seen, accepted, and respected. 💛🤍💜🖤
