We are a charity based in Brighton. We enable people to share their stories to connect, communicate and support each other through peer-led projects.

Livestock was formed in 2007 as a registered charity. We support the community through creative support groups, workshops, peer support, arts, education and performance. The company is led by Maggie Gordon-Walker and Aradhana Kothari. Maggie is the founder of Mothers Uncovered which you can locate

💚🧡❤️💙 Celebrating Our Volunteers 💙❤️🧡💚

This Volunteers’ Week, we want to say a heartfelt thank you to the incredible people who give their time, skills and energy to support our work.

Whether serving as trustees, supporting fundraising activities, contributing to our podcast, helping with administration or offering their expertise behind the scenes, our volunteers help make so much of what we do possible.

Their commitment, generosity and belief in the importance of supporting mothers and families helps us reach further and create lasting impact in our communities.

If anyone local is looking for something a little different this Friday, there’s a lovely Art & Nature session running at an arts venue in Shoreham.

It’s a really relaxed space for mums to connect, with simple creative activities (like nature mobiles), and a calm, sensory environment for babies too.

Very low-pressure, you can just come and be.

Maternal Mental Health Awareness Week starts today 🤍

This year’s theme is “A decade of voices”
– celebrating 10 years of mums sharing their experiences so others don’t feel less alone.

Because when one mum speaks honestly, it helps another feel seen.

Becoming a mum can be beautiful, but it can also feel overwhelming, confusing, and isolating.

If you’re in the middle of that right now…

you are not alone.
There is support.

We’re here to hold space for those conversations

You begin to notice the small things.
The way they respond, the way they see the world.

Some days feel overwhelming.
Other days bring moments of real connection.

It’s not always easy.
But it’s not always hard either.
