The Sun Lotus Recovery Programme is the complete A to Z of Addiction & Recovery. Transforming Lives through Courage, Compassion & Wisdom. The programme is currently empowering suffering addicts, through the processes of enlightenment, cognition & awareness. It gives the participant insights into their condition and a profound understanding of the deep rooted, physical, mental and emotional process
es underlying all addictions. The Sun Lotus Recovery Programme is currently providing a successful 12 week rolling programme online via Zoom at no charge. We also provide personalised one to one sessions for a fee. It is the first recovery programme in the country to offer the participant an intervention combining a timetable of cognition and awareness groups with a Buddhist programme of meditation training and the study of Buddhist teachings (Dharma) in The Nichiren Shoshu Tradition (Fuji School) which is an 800 year old Buddhist School with its Head Temple at Taiseki Ji nestled in the foothills of Mount Fuji in Japan and to use these practices and self awareness as a foundation for recovery from addiction disorders. It gives the suffering addict the tools and skills necessary to maintain total abstinence and to develop a deeply personal programme of recovery which is bespoke and tailor made for them as a way to live a life free from using mind/mood altering substances and other addictive behaviors. What this model of addiction offers is an alternative to the 12 Step/AA Disease model. This Buddhist Model enables the individual to explore their internal, inner world, known as “The Middle Way” or “The Inner Way” or even “The Sacred Way.”
Sun Lotus Recovery teaches that Life itself has unlimited potential for growth and change, and that by tapping into this well spring of unlimited potential (Buddha Nature) through Buddhist Practice & Study, the participant can unleash a profound revolution in their consciousness, creating many positive changes on the deepest and most fundamental levels of their life, enabling them to live a life free from the shackles and chains of an addiction disorder. We are now looking to expand the service globally via the online group and one to one work and ultimately to also provide an 8 bed residential rehab, based in the City of Brighton & Hove, on the south coast of England where an even more intensive and effective 6 or 12 week intervention can be delivered. This will be the first Buddhist Residential Rehab in the United Kingdom and the first of its kind in Europe. Your support would make this ground breaking project a reality for suffering addicts and their families here in the United Kingdom and then beyond these shores.
