Brighton Chamber Choir

Brighton Chamber Choir Brighton Chamber Choir was formed in 1990. They perform classical works unaccompanied and with piano, organ or Chamber Orchestra.

Its reputation has been increasing steadily over the years and it is now one of the best chamber choirs in Sussex. The choir is made up of around 40 choir members divided between four voice parts, SATB. We are particularly seeking new tenors and basses and new members are always welcome. Subject to there being a vacancy, admission follows after a couple of rehearsals to make sure you're happy and

after an audition with our Musical Director, Ruth Kerr. Rehearsals take place each Wednesday from 7.25 - 9.00 pm at the United Reformed Church, Blatchington Road, Hove BN3 3YF.

Our next concert is a sumptuous serving of psalms set to music. Spanning the ages from the 16th to the 21st century, each one is unique.
Come along this Saturday, 15th November at St Pauls Church on West Street, tickets from We Got Tickets (with booking fee), or available for £18 on the door (children free). Cash or card payments accepted. Start time is 6.30 pm, refreshments available!

On Saturday 16th November (6.30pm) in St Paul's Church, Brighton, the Brighton Chamber Choir will be joined by the excellent Musicians of All Saints for a fantastic programme of Baroque choral and instrumental music, directed by Ruth Kerr. Alongside Vivaldi's perennially popular Gloria will be Durante's sunny and immediately appealing Magnificat, some beautifully crafted Purcell anthems, a concerto for orchestra by Torelli, and an opportunity to hear the choir's excellent repetiteur (Claire Williams) in her natural element as a harpsichordist (in solo works by Purcell).

The Brighton Chamber Choir has built a reputation as a local amateur ensemble delivering professional quality performances, so we very much hope you will join us for this wonderful concert. Tickets are available at £25 (from https://wegottickets.com/event/637502)
