We are a peer-led mental health support group. You are welcome to come along if you have experience of mental health challenges. Some of us have spent time in hospital and others have other experiences. The main difference here is the non-hierarchical nature of the group and how we support each other in our recovery. Plus we can share skills with each other.
We meet every Tuesday 12.30 pm - 4.30 pm. It is a drop-in peer-led group. There are art materials available for self-directed art and occasional workshops may be available. Following lunch which ia around 2pm we usually have a drumming circle.
We meet at West Hill Community Hall, Compton Avenue, Brighton, BN1 3PS. It is on the 7 and 27 bus route. The hall is accessible and dog-friendly. If you would like to come along, please contact us via our email on [email protected]
