Huge THANK YOU to Pedal People Charity for letting us spend a wonderful day with them to celebrate the dedication of their new trike 'David Jack'!

It was a real privilege to hear Rachel's beautiful speech and watch her and David’s sister Alison ‘cut the ribbon’ 🎀

Pedal People are a brilliant independent, local Brighton charity offering accessible cycling to help with mobility and freedom. They enable people with limited or no accessible outdoor activity transformative health and wellbeing benefits.

Join the Bevy for their 2026 Photo Fringe Exhibition launch!

The photography documentation of The Bevy began at the beginning of 2026, having an awareness of the difference the pub makes to its community, the hope was to collaboratively capture all aspects and angles of it with an emphasis of how connections are made and nurtured. It is a long-term project aiming to follow its path, developments and challenges.

The photos are now contributing to the sustainability of The Bevy by offering these insights and opportunities to people and groups who may not be aware of them. A feedback loop in action!

The future goal is to bring the building into community ownership too and this can be supported by coming to The Bevy to see the exhibition.

diversitylewes.org.uk are hosting a Black History Month Family Fun Day!

Join them for an afternoon of music, dancing, drumming, food, creativity and plenty for the little ones to get stuck into.

They’ve got the brilliant Liz Ikamba and band headlining the day, plus African drumming and dance workshops with Ali Baba from Batafon Arts, children’s storytelling, poetry, an open mic, arts and crafts and more.

Delicious food will be available throughout the day, plus a bar with drinks.
