Cascade Creative Recovery delivers creative and wellbeing activities conducive to building holistic recovery and recovery capital. We also have ongoing projects such as theatre productions and events like the 2019 Southcoast Recovery Walk or the various Recovery Rocks recovery celebration events. We run peer support groups and recovery coaching to add value to an individuals engagement with Cascad

e Creative Recovery. The vast majority of those involved in the structure and delivery of CCR's charitable aims are in recovery and we value lived experience as an asset in helping others. At our heart is Asset Based Community Development and the 5 ways to wellbeing.

Hot SWEP is activated for Wednesday 12th and Thursday 13th August.

First Base Day Centre, St Stephen's Hall, Montpelier Place Brighton BN1 3BF, will be open to any rough sleepers between 11am-3.30pm (last entry 3pm).

Showers, a light lunch, cool drinks and a place to rest and shelter from the heat will be available. Staff will hand out sun cream, bottles of water and hats (if in stock). People will be assessed for their condition and referred on if any medical care is required.

The CGL Outreach have been doing SWEP shifts in the daytime all this week as well, handing out bottles of water, sun cream and hats.

Another great Open Mic night last Saturday. Catch the house band and open mic all-stars at our Gratitude Festival on 31 August (Bank Holiday). Live music, line dancing, sound baths, games, drumming workshops and facepainting! Free tickets are going fast, so get yours soon.
