The Ansvar team has been busy giving back over the past couple of weeks, getting involved in a range of fantastic volunteering initiatives.

Our Technical Underwriting team spent time at Raystede Centre for Animal Welfare, supporting their grounds maintenance by weeding paths, clearing tree stumps, and digging new areas to help keep the space welcoming for both visitors and animals.

As part of Benefact Group's Big Give Back Week, our Marketing team went over to Esteem Charity to help organise their office space. The team focused on sorting creative resources and materials - work that will directly support their youth programmes and help them continue delivering impactful sessions.

Our Eastbourne and Brighton offices were full of delicious cakes that colleagues baked to raise funds for Raising Futures Kenya.

To round off the week, colleagues from Ansvar and Access Insurance Services headed to Brighton for a beach clean, making the most of the sunny weather while helping to keep our coastline clean and enjoyable for everyone.

We’ve been lucky enough to visit some of the charities that we fundraised for in our ambitious £25k in 2025 challenge over the past couple months.

Seeing where the money we raised baking cakes, sleeping out in the wind and rain in December, running marathons and playing football at the AMEX really goes.

Whilst we won’t be doing £26k in 2026, we do have some exciting fundraising and volunteering activities planned for the year where colleagues will be taking on a whole range of personal challenges!

Earlier today we welcomed Kirsty Marrins to our offices in Brighton, to discuss how charities can use LinkedIn to its full potential.

The talk explored how to optimise profiles, share meaningful stories, and engage actively with others.

We welcomed over 50 different charities in-person and on Teams, with participants discussing the common anxieties of posting (will anyone read it?!) ways to optimise profiles (don’t be afraid to blow your own trumpet!) and how to build meaningful networks online.
