Whoopsadaisy Whoopsadaisy is a small Brighton based charity in Preston Park for young children with cerebral palsy and other physical disabilities.

We’re a friendly charity based in beautiful Preston Park, supporting children with disabilities and their families from Brighton & Hove and the surrounding areas. Our founder, Nina Holland, discovered the power of conductive education when her own son Christopher was diagnosed with Cerebral Palsy. She set up Whoopsadaisy to share this life-changing method with other children and their families. Since then, we’re proud to have supported many more children with disabilities to live full and independent lives. Our postal address is still:

Today is World Cerebral Palsy Day. 🌍

Today, we’re celebrating the children, young people and families who are at the heart of what we do, and recognising the strengths, achievements and possibilities of people living with cerebral palsy.

We’re delighted that Waitrose Western Road, Brighton has chosen Whoopsadaisy as one of three charities for its Green Coin collection.

From 1st October until 31st December, visit Waitrose Western Road, spend £5 or more, and pop your green coin into the Whoopsadaisy collection box at the back of the store.

The charity collecting the most coins will receive £1,500, and we’d love your help to reach the top! 🏆

Last week, Nora, our Lead Conductor, and Sarah, our Occupational Therapist, were delighted to visit the University of Brighton and deliver a presentation to OT students. 🎓

It was a wonderful opportunity to showcase Whoopsadaisy, discuss our combined Conductive Education and Occupational Therapy approach, and to (hopefully) inspire the next generation of OTs! 🌟

A huge thank you to the University of Brighton for the warm welcome and for providing us with the opportunity be a part of such a valuable learning experience.

On 26th September, our Corporate & Community Fundraiser will be taking on a 26 Triathlon, 2.6k running, 26 lengths of the Sea Lanes pool and a 26k bike ride! 🏃‍♀️🏊‍♀️🚴‍♀️

After her incredible swimming challenge in 2024, Caroline is back with another big challenge to raise funds for Whoopsadaisy.

The 12+ group enjoyed a game of table football during their final session of the last term. ⚽

It was a great opportunity to practise teamwork, communication and taking turns whilst enjoying some time together. A great way to round off another fantastic term!
