Just look at this heartwarming update on Miss Beetle! She went from being homeless to being a flower girl at her daddies' wedding! Congratulations to Sam and Ryan and we wish all three of you a very happy future together. ❤

Hi Annie and lovely RSPCA team,
Just an update from Miss Beetle (aka Missy B)... she is settling in really well after 1 month and we have provided some photos of her getting cozy in her new home.
She also attended our wedding on 25th September where she walked down the aisle with us and was just adored by everyone! We even got her on the wedding cake!
We love her so much and couldn't be more happier that we got to be her doggy parents! Hope these photos are a lovely little update and feel free to use any if you so wish!

9 months ago Pika came to us with her litter of puppies. Despite having been bred from repeatedly, Pika was the most wonderful mum. She cared for her pups with such tenderness, patience and love and, when they were old enough, saw them all off to loving homes. Then it became her turn to start a new life and, 6 months on, what a wonderful time she is having!

I hope you've had a good summer. I can't believe it's nearly 6 months since we adopted Pika!
We have just got back from a week in the Lake District and Derbyshire which she absolutely loved.
Our friend Olly took some beautiful pictures of her while we were away which I thought you might like to see.

When puppy Martin arrived with his three siblings, they were such tiny little mites that we thought they were probably spaniel x dachshund. Well, we were half right and half very wrong! As this update reveals:

We wanted to share with you that we had a DNA test done for Martin. We had it done because he was growing like a w**d and what I think we all believed would be a small breed wasn’t quite adding up!
The DNA test results came back yesterday and he is 50% Labrador and 47% cocker spaniel with a little bit of springer just for fun 🤩 so he’s a Cockador. We are even more delighted as we always wanted to Labrador!
He is full of energy, such a loyal, fun, gentle (but wild!) boy who is so funny and has brought such a wonderful new dynamic to the house. We do however miss many many socks since he moved in! We suspected he had lab in him as he absolutely loves water. Rolling in it, drinking it and jumping in any large or vast bodies of it in the forest. The only time he’s adverse is his bath time every week 🤦‍♀️😂

Puppy Shark has such beautiful markings. His litter mates were all sorts of colours, shapes and sizes so it will be fascinating to see what they grow into. It looks as if Shark may grow into a giraffe! 😄

His new family tell us he is getting on really well, is such a good boy and his legs are getting really long!

Get ready to put your thinking caps on (or at least give it a good try!) and join us for the RSPCA Brighton Spooky Themed Quiz Night — a paws-itively brilliant evening of trivia, laughs, and friendly competition.

Whether you’re a quiz whizz, a master of random facts, love anything spooky or just really good at guessing, this is your chance to test your knowledge while supporting a great cause. Gather a team of up to six and enjoy an evening packed with brain-teasing Halloween themed questions, questionable answers, and plenty of fun.

As well as the quiz itself, we’ll be running a raffle and tombola with fantastic prizes up for grabs — and of course, there will be quiz prizes for our winning teams (bragging rights included!).

Every ticket helps fund the vital rescue, rehabilitation, and rehoming work carried out by RSPCA Brighton, so you can feel good knowing your quiz skills (or lack of them!) are making a real difference for animals in need.

Abandoned, along with her 7 siblings, at a few weeks old, rescued and then rehomed at 8 weeks old and now 16 weeks old and living the good life! How Tilly's fortunes have changed in the first few weeks of her life. Onwards and upwards, gorgeous Tilly!

She is an absolute angel. I honestly couldn't imagine my life without her now. She is the best thing that ever happened to us. She's so good with the vets. She's getting used to walking on the lead now. She is so well behaved. We have taken her to puppy socialisation and she's done very well. She absolutely LOVES people!
Thank you so much for everything you do. You are all amazing! :)
