St. John’s College can offer weekly, termly or 52-week residential placements at one of our CQC registered houses.

All residents are supported to develop the skills they will need for adult life. Money skills, shopping, food preparation, laundry, and household tasks are all core aspects of each resident's individualised programme.

🌟 Well done, Callum! 🌟

Callum recently took part in a Reverse Jobs Fair at the University of Sussex, where interns showcased their skills, experience, CVs and achievements to potential employers.

This was a huge milestone for Callum, who has grown in confidence since joining the Supported Internship programme. He spoke independently with employers, demonstrating excellent communication skills, professionalism and self-confidence.

Reflecting on the day, Callum said:
"I enjoyed talking to people today and I liked the way they didn't rush me."

We're incredibly proud of everything Callum has achieved and can't wait to see what he does next! 👏✨

🌟 Enrichment at St John’s College 🌟

Confidence, connection, creativity, and joy! Enrichment at St John’s is about so much more than activities.

From football and yoga to DJ sessions and dance, our learners are building friendships, expressing themselves, developing independence, and most importantly, enjoying every moment. 💙

For many of our autistic young people, these sessions provide safe and supportive spaces to grow in confidence, explore their strengths, and thrive in ways that are meaningful to them.

Seeing the excitement our learners have for Fridays reminds us just how important enrichment is in supporting wellbeing, happiness, and real-life outcomes.

🌍 World Autism Acceptance Month

Our incredible learners took to the streets of Brighton for a meaningful awareness walk from the college to the seafront 💙

Wearing their specially designed T-shirts and proudly sharing flyers with the community, they helped raise awareness, spark conversations, and promote understanding and acceptance of autism.

It was more than just a walk, it was a celebration of confidence, independence, and pride. The positivity, smiles, and determination shown by our learners were truly inspiring. Seeing them engage with the public and represent themselves so confidently made the day even more special.

Moments like these highlight the importance of inclusion and the powerful impact our learners can have in their community.

We are so proud of each and every one of them 👏
