Another super busy night tonight in Hove as we gathered again to support those in need.

Dare we say it but we will soon be heading into autumn and the nights are already starting to cool down so we need to start gathering the warmer clothes.

👇 We are in urgent need of the following items below for outreach and accommodated male clients ONLY 👇👇

Walking boots and trainers - all sizes from 7-13 and all the half sizes too. 🙏
Waterproof hooded and non hooded coats - S- XL.
Jumpers and fleeces - all sizes.
Joggers - sizes S, M, L and XL.
Hoodies - sizes S, M, L and XL.
T-shirts and short sleeve casual shirts - sizes XS, S, M, L and XL.
Jeans - Size 28-34” waist ONLY - no larger waist sizes needed.
Boxer shorts - size S, M, L to XL.
Socks and trainer socks.
Hats, scarves and gloves.
Large and medium Rucksacks
Dog food. Dry and wet 🐶🐾🐕🐾
Deodorants, Pocket pack tissues and wet wipes.
Tinned soups, beans, veg, pot noodles, pot porridge.

Small and medium TV’s, microwaves, single sheets and bath towels, saucepans, dinner plates and cereal bowls ONLY- we are completely out of stock again and have accommodated clients waiting. 😓

Another super busy evening with so many people needing our help to get through the week. The demand for our services and the amount of people we are trying to serve shows no signs of decreasing.

Hot SWEP is activated for Wednesday 12th and Thursday 13th August.

First Base Day Centre, St Stephen's Hall, Montpelier Place Brighton BN1 3BF, will be open to any rough sleepers between 11am-3.30pm (last entry 3pm).

Showers, a light lunch, cool drinks and a place to rest and shelter from the heat will be available. Staff will hand out sun cream, bottles of water and hats (if in stock). People will be assessed for their condition and referred on if any medical care is required.

The CGL Outreach have been doing SWEP shifts in the daytime all this week as well, handing out bottles of water, sun cream and hats.

Another hugely busy evening with so many people needing our help to get through the week. The demand for our services just seems to keep growing both at Sunday night outreach and with the charity partners we assist during the week.

We are well into this relentlessly hot summer now and numbers of visitors to the city has yet again increased so we need your help more than ever to keep things going. 🙏🙏

Another hot evening down on the seafront tonight, another ridiculously busy outreach service on Pride Weekend trying to serve as many people as we can. 🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍🌈

Once again our amazing volunteers were out to spread some love and kindness with clothing, essential equipment and food for our clients. 🙏❤️
