Friends of Brighton & Hove Hospitals has worked for almost 70 years to raise funds for your local hospitals and healthcare services in Brighton & Hove and Newhaven. We provide additional money where it is most needed, for example for innovative equipment or to enhance elderly care.

What a beautiful day for the first of Friends of Eastbourne Hospital Open Gardens 😎🌸🌹🍰

The garden at Carters Corner Farm was absolutely stunning with plenty of shady spots to sit and enjoy the splendid home-made cakes.

My dear friend Janette Goss even won a raffle prize! Looking forward to visiting some more gardens over the summer.

The volunteers did an amazing job on such a hot day 👏👏👏

There will be home-made cakes and scones with clotted cream and jam, plant sales, book stall, raffle, tour of the garden, ancient woodland, donkeys, peacocks, local history and of course a beautiful garden!

It was fantastic to see so many people at our Open Gardens launch and we were delighted to have Councillor Amanda Grimshaw as well as Alan McCarthy MBE DL representing in attendance to officially open the programme. Huge thanks to everyone who supported the event including our fabulous open garden team, volunteers and bakers. Special thanks to for an inspiring talk about the positive impact gardens can have, Matthew the incredible human statue and the band 🙏🏻😎🌺🎶☕️🍰
