What does it mean to truly see someone in need and take action?
This Sunday, we explored the powerful parable of the Good Samaritan and discovered how God is calling us to be His hands and feet both locally and globally. We were honored to hear from Janay, who shared his incredible testimony of growing up in extreme poverty in Kolkata and how being sponsored through Compassion completely transformed his life and his family's eternal destiny.
Jesus commands us in Luke 10:37 to "go and do likewise" - not just to see the need, but to be moved with compassion and act. For just over a pound a day, we can provide a child with education, nutrition, healthcare, and most importantly, the hope of Jesus through the local church. This morning, our church family stepped up in a powerful way, choosing to invest in the lives of children in the Philippines.
