💛 My HELM cic -SUMMER TERM KIDS COURSES (8–11yrs) – A SUPPORTIVE PLACE TO GROW

At My HELM, we know every child is different. Some need space to rebuild confidence, some need a more engaging way to learn, and many simply need to feel part of a community where they are understood.

Our Summer Term offers two gentle, supportive pathways — both designed to help children feel safe, capable and proud of themselves.

🚀 KIDS ENTREPRENEURS CLUB (Afternoons)
A nurturing, hands-on space where children work together to create their own small business.

Through creative, real-life projects, children build confidence, friendships and a sense of purpose — all at their own pace.

🤝 Encourages teamwork and connection
💬 Builds confidence in expressing ideas
🌱 Helps children feel capable and valued

📅 Wed, Thu, Fri | ⏰ 12–4pm
Includes daily sports (12–1pm) to support wellbeing and social time - Bouncy Castle, Outdoor Crazy Golf and Trampoline, Board Games.

✏️ HEM CLUB (Morning Tutor Club)
A calm, small-group environment for children who may need a gentler approach to learning.

We focus on Handwriting, English and Maths in a way that feels achievable, supportive and confidence-building.

📚 Strengthens core skills without pressure
✍️ Supports focus, engagement and independence
💛 Helps children feel more positive about learning

📅 Thu & Fri | ⏰ 10am–12pm
Includes a light sports element

At My HELM CIC, our courses are built around real-life skills, giving children and younger teens the opportunity to create and run their own business 💡and older teens, run their own live music studio. Each term has clear goals, helping young people develop confidence, independence, and a sense of purpose.

Our experienced team deliver creative and inclusive programmes, designed to engage every child in a way that works for them—supporting different learning styles, building confidence, and creating a safe space to thrive 🎨

Working in small groups of up to 15, our sessions create a supportive environment where friendships grow, voices are heard, and every child is encouraged to take ownership of their learning 🤝

We focus on building autonomy, confidence, and real-world understanding—while making learning engaging, social, and meaningful ✨

🌟 Easter Holiday Club at My HELM CIC 🌟
A creative, welcoming space for children aged 8–12 this Easter.

Based at King Alfred Leisure Centre in Brighton & Hove, My HELM CIC has been supporting young people for over 8 years, providing small group environments where children can build confidence, make friends and enjoy learning through creativity and play.

Our Easter Holiday Club offers a relaxed and engaging experience for children who enjoy smaller groups and hands-on activities.
