6 years ago I started campaigning for public sexual harassment to be made a criminal offence and as of TODAY it is officially the law!! The anger i felt when i found out that it was legal in our country to sexually harass people on the street helped me to put each step forward towards doing something about it - contacting MPs, police, council and charities to speak about prevention and awareness. Feeling quite emotional knowing that this might have had an impact and today it IS ILLEGAL. The wrk is not done though…
