💧 Community, culture and our coast

As part of this year’s Brighton BASH Carnival, BARCO worked with Sussex Bay UK on a series of workshops exploring our relationship with water and the coast.

The workshops created opportunities for groups and communities who are not usually included in coastal recovery projects to take part, share their perspectives and connect with the wider work happening across Sussex.

We’re sharing some highlights and findings from the workshops and some of the work produced with our facilitators Dr Nat Arias and 🍉 AFLO. the poet 《artist|activist|academic》

A big thank you to everyone who took part and helped make these sessions such a meaningful way to bring community and coastal recovery together.
